Leadership Coaching for Courageous Change
Slow down. See clearly. Lead with intention.
Leadership starts with what you notice, not how fast you move. One-on-one coaching helps you pause, see the patterns driving your reactions, and lead with clarity and confidence.
About Liz
Two decades of helping people lead more thoughtfully.
Liz Hammond is a coach and facilitator with more than twenty years of experience inside nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. She understands both the internal and external demands of leadership, and partners with individuals who are ready to lead with greater clarity, care, and connection. At the heart of her practice is deep listening — creating space where leaders feel genuinely seen and can reconnect with what matters most.
A licensed clinical social worker with a master's from Smith College School for Social Work, Liz is a certified Presence-Based® Coaching practitioner and a Lumina Leader 360 coach. She integrates powerful assessment tools with deep, reflective coaching practices so that leaders can deepen self-awareness, navigate complexity, and lead in ways that are both effective and deeply human.
The Work
Thoughtful leadership requires courage, reflection, and practice.
Coaching helps leaders slow down, gain perspective, and grow their self-awareness — so they can move from constant reacting toward more thoughtful, intentional action.
Slow down & reflect
Step back from constant reacting to gain perspective, surface what matters, and reconnect with the longer-term goals worth moving toward.
See your patterns
Liz listens for the questions behind your stories and helps reveal the habits in your thinking and actions that are serving — or not serving — your leadership.
Practice new ways
Together you create action-oriented plans that support new practices, building the clarity, resilience, and confidence to lead through challenge and change.
She has a unique ability to ask grounding, thought-provoking questions that helped me step back, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose. I consistently left our conversations feeling more grounded, aligned, and confident in my next steps.
